Liryc non stop
Cyril Torres, born in Nîmes (France) 1970.

Studied piano, double bass, percussion, writing and electroacoustic at the academy of music, where I still work as a copyist monk.

Played drums, vocals & guitar in various Reggae to Punk bands since the 80’s.
Also studied « practice and architecture of silence » at a Robert Fripp’s guitar craft course (“learnt more in a half-silent week than in decades of academic snobbery“ :)

Acid house experimental techno vinyl DJ since the mid-90’s.
Member of Audio-Mastick electronic collective during the 00’s.
More recently in Alice khan, improvised ambient incantations duo with Pascal Deleuze.

Self-releases progressive pop, rock & orchestral albums under various backward names : Atom Liryc, (just) Liryc, Serrot.

Very fond of Astrology, Middle Ages, Space Opera, Waterfalls and Clouds worshipping.
